After 24 years with LVMH in Asia, Pierre Balsan created Retail Missions to pursue and enhance strategic development of new and upcoming luxury concepts in Asia.
His affection for Asia began years ago when he went to study Mandarin in Taiwan, between studies at Science Po, Paris and Georgetown University, Washington DC.
His understanding of business development, brand awareness and team building has included developping Parfums Christian Dior from 1987, moving to Christian Dior Fashion in 1995 and Fendi in 2000. A decade later he moved to Loro Piana and developed the iconic cashmere brand in Asia.
With Retail Missions, Balsan is bringing Luxury Retail Culture to the new players in this fast evolving industry.
