Throughout her career, M.Bretillot has championed a multidisciplinary and multicultural approach to design, and to this end she has taught, directed and influenced educational programs in France, Belgium, India and the UK. Her deep interest in young creators is nourished by a perpetual exchange with design students. Through the coordination of numerous international workshops and events, she continues to establish connections between expertise, craftsmanship and young creators. (read more)
Director of jsvcPROJECTS/London: international arts agency for artists and designers, galleries, institutions and collectors, Silverman van Coenegrachts has a thirty-year career in the International art world working in New York, London and Paris, where she has been, Partner at Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac, Paris/Salzburg; Managing Director of Lisson Gallery. Director of the John Gibson Gallery, and of Barbara Mathes Gallery. She was a culture correspondant for The New York Times, from 1975-1985. In 2004 Silverman van Coenegrachts, was awarded the Chevalier des Arts et Lettres by the French government for her contributions to contemporary art as a member of the Committee of FIAC, a position she held for 10 years.
